Toronto, ON: Help celebrate the start of the Christmas season this year with your Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto. 2 p.m. This year we are taking a page from the past and revisiting a well-loved event format we ran for many years about a decade ago. We will be joining Grýla and the Jólasveinar for an afternoon of storytelling at Riverdale Farm. This is an outdoor event and starts promptly at 2 p.m. We will walk with Grýla around the farm as she tells the beloved story of her mischievous sons the Jólasveinar, or the 13 mountain-dwelling Yule Lads that frequent the homes of Icelanders in the 13 days leading up to Christmas.
