Winnipeg, MB: With the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre’s production of Intrepid coming up in January, join us for an evening at the Scandinavian Centre exploring the real man behind the story. Dwight MacAulay, past president of the Intrepid Society and an expert on William Stephenson, will share stories about Winnipeg’s own “Intrepid,” the man who became Winston Churchill’s spymaster and inspired James Bond. The event runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will feature a 1940s-style cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, including a signature martini. 1940s cocktail attire is optional. Tickets are $30.
