Winnipeg, MB: Step into a world where myth and landscape intertwine. Echoes of Asgard is a captivating exhibition of works by Icelandic-Canadian artist Inga Torfadottir, on display at the Icelandic Reading Room, 3rd Floor of the Elizabeth Dafoe Library.
Inspired by the rich folklore, dramatic natural beauty, and timeless stories of Iceland, Torfadottir’s art offers a fresh and deeply personal interpretation of Nordic heritage. Her pieces invite viewers to explore themes of identity, memory, and myth through a contemporary lens, bridging past and present in bold and thought-provoking ways.
