Gimli, MB: “In Praise of Rain” will be the theme of the Sunday service at Gimli Unitarian Church, 76 Second Avenue near Centre Street, 11:00 a.m. “Into each life some rain must fall,” sighed Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, seeing our human days as “dark and dreary.” Yet in another poem, he exclaimed: “How beautiful is the rain!” This year, we have been reminded that rain is a blessing when it falls on a parched and thirsting earth. Rev. Stefan Jonasson will preach. Dress is casual and the beach awaits you in the afternoon.
