Gimli, MB: “The Summer of Our Discontent” will be the theme of the Sunday service at Gimli Unitarian Church, 76 Second Avenue near Centre Street. “This summer is shaping up as a season of protest, much like the summer of 2020 and many summers before. Depending on your point of view, this may be either welcome or threatening. However, you can be sure that varied propagandists will seek to bend the narrative in their favour.” Rev. Stefan Jonasson will preach. Summer services will continue on July 20, August 3, August 17, and August 31. Dress is casual since it’s vacation season and Gimli is a vacation destination.
